[x] Yes, 1000¥
[x] Twiddle your fingers, try and look small. "Um, I don't have much money, so... please use it wisely."
[x] Ask if they know anyone in the Kendo Club. It would be good to learn about your potential partn... friends.

---

Both Marisa and Suika grin and answer to Reimu in synch, “No!”

“Grrh, I hate you two,” murmurs the miko in red shirt as she glowers at them. In return, they snigger naughtily, to her contempt. The miko decides to ignore the two and instead glares at you without saying a word. She doesn’t need to; by her stare alone you can already tell what’s in her mind: an edgily expectant thought, one that’s undoubtedly related to monetary issue.

You glance aside at the other two girls. They’re looking at you with eagerness to hear your decision just as much as Reimu. Though you can easily guess they’re expecting very well the opposite of what the miko would enjoy.

You sigh lightly at the silly atmosphere.

“Um,” you pull up your slantwise draped schoolbag and rummage its inside. Marisa and Suika have their mouths fell open as you take out your wallet, and hand a bill to the now leering Reimu. You then twiddle the fingers of your two hands together and say in a mild voice, “I don't have much of that, so... please use it wisely.”

“Aww man!” whines Suika, “She actually donates!”

Marisa covers her mouth in contrived shock, “No way! That’s impossible!”

Reimu keeps on smiling despite the two’s cynical remarks. She replies to you delightfully, “I will, and thanks. It’s good to see that you aren’t like some certain twits who never do anything but make a mess out of my home whenever they’re around.” She maintains her merry smile, even after uttering such a stinging comment. To the side, the two ‘twits’ remain in their exaggerated confound, while you draw your lips to a rather unsure simper.

The miko schoolgirl then eyes the bill you gave her, “I’m so happy now Mr. Hideyo here seems like sparkling to my-” Reimu stumbles abruptly. You can see her eyes flinch a bit as she stares flatly to the paper money she has in hand.

“Hmm?” Marisa bats her eyelids, “Whoa, wait! You mean . . .” she pauses, but then appears to have come to a realization, ”Wow, that’s quite a lot.”

Suika on the other hand, doesn’t seem to grasp whatever it is that got into the two. She looks to Reimu first, and then to Marisa, “What’re you two talking about?”

Reimu slides her gaze to Suika sluggishly. She then flips and lifts the money to her. “This guy,” says her simply as she taps a picture of a man printed on obverse side of the bill.

“Oh . . . hey wait, it’s a thousand yen,” Suika points out as she looks to your former bill.

“Thought so,” Marisa mumbles. She turns to you and asks, “That’s way too much you know? You sure about that?”

You nod as a response to her, showing to everyone that it wasn’t any accident and that you are sure of what you did. Marisa crooks her lips in uncertainty, but says nothing more.

Reimu shrugs and butts in, “Well, that’s how it goes.” She then turns around and inserts the paper money to the shrine’s donation box. Afterwards she does a little prayer for you before she welcomes everyone to her home.

Sorry guys, I messed up the update. Actually I wrote this along with the opening, but there was an error with this one and I deleted it. Then, my internet got busted before I can repost this. One thing led to another, this isn't a good day for me.

---

You’re now sitting on the floor covered with woven straw mat of what seems to be a living room. The surrounding is pretty modest, and looks just as how it does from outside: a traditional Japanese house. Plastered wooden walls, pocket doors and you can also see a tokonoma* where there’s a calligraphic scroll hanging as decoration.

Reimu is away preparing tea and snacks for you and the other two guests. Meanwhile, Marisa brought up about your exploration of the school’s clubrooms this afternoon. It eventually leads to you talking about your aspiration to join the school’s Art and Kendo Club, and how you have been around painting various structures since long. The other two girls are astonished to hear your story, though neither of them appears to have heard the sites you mentioned to have painted.

“That’s really cool!” squeals Suika while hugging the schoolbag that used to hang over her shoulders. She had taken off her blazer, revealing the blouse she wore beneath as sleeveless.

“Yeah, but I guess I can see that from you Cirno,” Marisa comments as she crosses her arms. She then leans her back to a wall and stretches her legs out across the mat, revealing a sizable portion of her thighs as her skirts drew up rather endearingly. She doesn’t seem to mind it, since hey, there isn’t any male in a mile radius. The only other two people present in the same room as her currently are you and Suika, whom are both females, straight females, though it’s really easy to be proven wrong in that matter.

*cough*

“I told Ms. Yakumo this too, that’s when I found out that she spoke Italian,” you state, which reminds you how unexcitable Yukari was. That when you did your bad mile-high club joke, that when you told her about your experience with paintings, that when you put to her keenly your affection for fencing... she took them without all too much of wonder, compared to how a normal person would react. She wasn’t even mad at the inappropriate joke, instead just said ‘Too bad, could have been an interesting story to hear.’ Something negligent no one would expect from a school principal.

Then again, that’s not all that is unusual about her.

You tilt your head to the left and add, “She spoke only one line to me though.”

“Eh, I’d bet she’s good at it for real,” Marisa confidently says. “Her English is awfully fluent. I know because I’ve heard her spoke in it. Heck, I even saw her speaking in French with Wriggle once.”

“Wriggle’s a French?” Suika asks, still hugging her bag adorably.

Marisa nods, “Makes you wonder why she’s called Wriggle huh? I mean, Wriggle’s an English word. They don’t use English as native language there on France.”

“Maybe it’s not a nickname she got back on France,” you speculate.

“Who knows?” Marisa shrugs. “Anyway, what about Kendo Club? You’ve been practicing kendo since you were a kid too?”

“Not kendo,” you explain, “I trained Florentine-style fencing under my uncle back on Italy, but that’s not really why I want to join the club. I’m always fond of sword-fighting art, I’m sure I’ll have fun in the club.” You decide to keep that simple, not wanting to embarrass yourself as you did with Yukari.

“Uh, it’s still open isn’t it?” you ask in accession.

“Dunno,” Marisa replies in short.

“You can ask Utsuho about it!” Suika suggests.

The mention of a name flickers your interest, “Utsuho?”

“Yeah! She’s the captain of Kendo Club!” Suika states energetically.

“She’s also a member of the Science Club,” Marisa grins, “she’s the captain over there too. Captain as in ‘Marisa! It’s your turn to clean up the tubes! Do it damnit!’ hehehe~”

Both you and Suika giggle along with Marisa. “She’s pretty strict,” Suika marks. “You’re in for a hard time there Cirno!”

“It’s fine. I’m used to strict trainings,” you say with a smile. “By the way, do you two know anyone else on Kendo Club?”

At this moment, sounds of footstep approaching the living room can be heard by you. The pads of bare feet stepping on top of wooden floor are gradually getting louder, until you hear the pocket door situated behind you slides open.

“Youmu.”

You turn around and find yourself the source of the footstep: Reimu. What catches your attention the most from her isn’t the tray for tea and snacks she’s carrying, neither the word she mumbled on her way in. It’s her attire; she no longer wears her school uniform and instead has changed into a sleeveless dress with long skirt, red-colored on most part.

“I was about to say that Reimu,“ Marisa says as she moves over to the tray placed on the floor by Reimu to grab her cup and pour herself some tea, followed by Suika. You on the other hand, are still quite captivated by Reimu’s outfit. The cuts on the sides of her chest are... ample, divulging her armpits though not necessarily her *cough* torso since you can see the wrap of sarashi** covering her chest.

Reimu notices your stare and asks, “What?”

(What will you say to her?)

Anyway, another mistake: I’m changing the class number of Suika and Aya from 3-A to... unspecified as of yet, just not 3-A, and what the heck was I thinking when I made Bissi addressed Yukari with “Ms. Yukari” instead of “Ms. Yakumo”!? Damn it! (It’s intentional that Kanako was called Kanako instead of Yasaka by her students though)

I also really want to smack myself for not checking what basilica really is. I thought it was a general term for place of worship. I think I got it wrong, if so I should have added a commentary or two from Reimu about it. Man...

I guess I dug my own grave the moment I decided to write something that’s out of my league. I so did a lot of mistakes here and there enough to tempt me into restarting, or just plain stop this CYOA... but well, enough rant. Let’s just see how it goes first.

"Ah, Sorry!” you apologize nervously, “I was just surprised by your change of attire. I've been in Japan for a few years now, but there's always new customs to experience. It is definitely more flattering than a nun's habit,” you explain with a smile.

Reimu stares at you with a narrowed eyes, “Flattering?”

Marisa was drinking her tea when Reimu asked the question to you. For an unknown reason, she turns to smirking mischievously upon hearing that. She subsequently puts down the clay cup she used to drink. “Surely,” she says before puffing the palm of her right hand, “it means that what has been known to us all,” she suddenly strikes up a pose similar to that of Ultraman when he shoots ray beam from the outer edge of his hand... much to your perplexity.

Reimu however, appears to grasp well what the blond is aiming for. She glares at her and threatens crankily, “Marisa, you take just one step closer to me and I swear, there will be blood.”

It goes without saying that you’re at a complete loss, moreover now that Suika also gestures the same odd stance Marisa is doing in a seriatim of inanity. “Umm,” you signal your puzzlement for the other girls to heed while looking left and right alternately -- hoping someone would elucidate to you just what is going on.

Marisa senses your confusion. She looks to you with her lips curving to a sinister leer. She explains, “What we’re about to do, Cirno, is something voluptuous we simply dubbed as sticking your fingers to the miko’s armpits.”

What!?

“Care to join us?” asks Suika, who is equipped with no less suspicious of a smirk as Marisa’s, to you. You don’t have a clue on what to answer her with, being way too busy figuring out what in the name of third planet in solar system are those two thinking. Sticking their fingers to Reimu’s armpits? That’s-

Man! That’s hot!

“Oh no, no,” utters Reimu. “You two aren’t going to add another freak up the list,” Reimu grumpily murmurs. She then turns to looking at you, “You know better than to listen to these two idiots aren’t you?”

(What will you answer her with?)

>Might want to look it up.
This can mean either I should look up the meaning of the word "voluptuous" or I should revise my description towards Reimu. Let's check both.

>I should look up the meaning of the word "voluptuous"
voluptuous
–adjective
1. full of, characterized by, or ministering to indulgence in luxury, pleasure, and sensuous enjoyment: a voluptuous life.
2. derived from gratification of the senses: voluptuous pleasure.
3. directed toward or concerned with sensuous enjoyment or sensual pleasure: voluptuous desires.
4. sensuously pleasing or delightful: voluptuous beauty.

If "sticking your fingers to a cute girl's smooth and clean armpits" isn't considered sensual, I don't know what is.

Although maybe, you meant that the word's a bit too strong for her. In that case I apologize.

>I should revise my description towards Reimu
Marisa didn't use voluptuous to refer Reimu. By it, she was referring to the act of molesting Reimu, which is not Reimu in personal. But then, it is still indirectly related to Reimu, and from your words I can see even that still troubles you.

As for that,

Even ZUN made little effort in keeping Reimu away from being sensuously pleasing or delightful, as I copied from one definition of voluptuous above. In SSiB (which ZUN himself wrote), I distinctly remember her lifting her arms, revealing her sexy armpits for no reason whatsoever other than for the whole world to chew on, perhaps. Therefore I can say I'm not completely contradictory towards how she is portrayed canonically.

Well, that's that, unless you "But Reimu is never hot IMO so yeah!" or "I was kidding!" then oh lol, okay.

To tell the truth, all my defenses are merely for-this-case-only. I may (or will, I guess) write other things truly different or contradictory towards canon, by accident if not intentional. After all, this is a fanfic writing of an amateur. I'll try my best to at least not invite myself some good ol' RAGE for the changes, and probably make them actually enjoyable for you guys.
