1778 No. 1778
Ran waves Yukari off, it's gonna be a long month without her. Hopefully, none of those usual troublemakers will stir up something. Ran sighs and steps inside, slides her feet out of her shoes and walks into her room and up to the giant dresser in her room. Since her lady is away for the time being, and nobody being around anyway, she takes off her usual clothes and dons a more casual attire, one of a light blue dress, knee lenght. However, it is unfortunately held up by her tails. Ran twists and turns infront of the mirror, until she resigns and a sighs. "It would be such a shame to cut it up too..." she moans.
"Yeah but your underwear is showing." Chen says, entirely frank. Ran turns around and places her knuckles on her hips "Chen! don't sneak up on a lady when she's dressing up! Wh-what if you saw me naked?" Ran blushes slightly. Chen looks away "...well I'm sorry. It's almost dinner time and I'm starving! Nyaaaa...". Rans eyes widen and she breathes in quickly "Oh dear me, I forgot!". Ran rushes into the kitchen and manages to get the spagetthi off the heat before it boils over. "Lucky..." Ran mutters and continues with the cooking. Ran suddenly notices a necklace that's lying on the kitchen counter. It has a tiny red stone attached to it. She has never seen it before.

[ ] Pick it up, put it on. After all, it's your fancy day off.
[ ] Pocket it, after all, it looks valuable and has no business getting lost.

Ran holds up the necklace, it's golden, with a small, but gorgeous ruby of some kind attached to it. She puts it on carefully and continues to cook. Ran serves the food and calls for Chen, who walks in with her dress hoisted up on her tails "Look Ran-sama, it's my day off too!", she turns around and shows off her underwear which cases Ran to freeze completely, her tails to point straight otu and her face turn beet red. "A-ah, that's... not very ladylike" Ran stutters and pulls down Chens dress.
"Just because I give a bad example doesn't mean you have to follow it!"
"But Raaan-sama!"
After dinner Chen leaves the house, leaving Ran alone. Ran spends some time admiring herself, sighing about the unfortunate dress situation. She looks at the necklace and fidgets with it. She wonders if it's Yukari's possession or something that she 'borrowed'. She rolls the stone inbetween her fingers, while thinking about how much better it would be if the dress was sewn with her huge and fluffy tails in mind. Ran sighs, once more, and lets go of the stone. She takes one last look at the mirror as she walks out of her room. She notes the dress is now perfectly sewn in accordance with her tails. Ran nods in appreciation and walks out. And then she walks back in, looking at the mirror, turning around and sticking her butt out. Amazed she holds up the tiny red stone, it seems to glow dimly from within. How odd. Well, eh, if Yukari did leave it lying around there's probably no harm in atleast... testing if it's safe...

Ran is pretty sure this is some kind of wish granting necklace, but what should she wish for? Ran ponders....
